Our professionally trained installers will call you on the way to your home, making sure you're available when they arrive, they will review the installation process with you.

Second is removal of any existing equipment properly. Once that is completed, you will have installers both near the furnace, in the basement or wherever it may be, or outside with the air conditioning or heat pump.

Third will be the installation of the new equipment. And fourth will be the commissioning or review startup of the new equipment. During that process, they may ask you questions if there is anything that comes up that may be different than what you reviewed in the beginning.

How long will the installation take?

Number two, how long will the installation take? Installation of a full system, our goal is to be there for the entire day, sometime between 8:00 in the morning till 6:00 in the afternoon. Sometimes it may take a little longer.

Number three how much will it cost? In general, a furnace only installation could range anywhere between $4,000 and $8,000. An air conditioning or heat pump alone could range anywhere between $4,500 and $12,000. A full system is more likely going to be in the $7,000 to $18,000.

Do I have to replace both units at the same time?

Number six do I have to replace both units at the same time? In a gas system, the furnace in the air conditioner are mutually exclusive. So the answer is no. You do not have to replace both the indoor and outdoor units at the same time. However, an electric system the units are working together. They must rate. Therefore, if you replace a heat pump, you also need to replace the air handler and vice versa.

Does the brand of the equipment really matter?

And finally, number seven. Does the brand of the equipment really matter? The brand of the equipment matters only for reliability and for options for yield. What really matters is the company is going to stand by that equipment in the company that's going to install the equipment. That is what is the most important part of this process.
