Hi, my name is Bryan and here at Fire & Ice we believe in honesty and aren’t afraid of healthy competition. Why? Well, we want you to be informed and stringy believe the best kind of customer is a well informed customer. Even if that means you’ll go with the competition. That’s why we’ve come up with a list of the six most prominent HVAC companies servicing Gahanna. That way you can compare and find the best contractor for you.

Gahanna Ohio’s Best HVAC Contractors:

Let’s get started in taking a look at our list of Columbus Ohio’s best HVAC contractors.

First up, is Central Ohio’s oldest HVAC company, Atlas Butler. They’ve been around well over a hundred years and offer repair, replacement, and installation services on air conditioners, furnaces, and heat pumps. Their services also include repair and installation of plumbing, ductless mini-splits, and water heaters.

Next on our list is Best Service Heating and Cooling. They have been providing residential and light commercial heating and cooling services since 1992.

Number three on our list is CJS Heating & Air Conditioning. They service a large swatch that include Franklin and Delaware counties and as far west as Dayton, Ohio and Kokomo, Indiana.

Next up is Custom Air who have been providing residential and commercial HVAC services to Franklin and Delaware counties since 1976. The brands they carry are American Standard, Tempstar, Mitsubishi, Goodman, and Rheem HVAC products.

Fifth on our list is Gahanna Heating and Cooling and they have been serving Gahanna and surrounding communities since 1975. They are a York Certified Comfort Expert and specialize in residential and light commercial HVAC.

And finally, rounding out our list is New Albany Heating and Air Conditioning. They are part of the Five Star Heating and Cooling Group and focus on residential furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pump repair, service, and installation.

Now keep in mind that this list isn’t comprehensive, so we encourage you to do your own research as well.

Choose the Right HVAC Contractor

With so many options it becomes difficult to choose the right one. Here are some factors to consider when picking your next HVAC company:

First, is the standards and care set for their employees. Are they independent contractors or W2’d employees with benefits? From what we’ve seen, systems installed or repaired by independent contractors are often poor and end up costing the customer in the long run. At Fire & Ice, all of our employees are accountable for the quality of the work they do, not just the amount of work they do.

Next, is training. We believe in continuing education and have invested in Central Ohio’s largest training center where we provide our technicians with over 200 hours of continuing education per year. We also encourage and reimburse our technicians for any certifications they achieve.

Third, are sales tactics. If you’ve ever experienced high-pressure sales, you know how painful it can be. At Fire & Ice, we understand deciding to purchase a new HVAC system is a big decision that will impact your indoor comfort for the next 20 years or more. That’s why we never use high-pressure tactics.

Fourth, are load calculations. One way to maximize the performance of any HVAC system is to have it properly sized to your home. And the best way to do this is to have load calculations performed during a sales consultation. Oftentimes this process is skipped and HVAC contractors simply use the same size system you previously or guess based on the size of your home.

Last, are installation practices and follow-up. If corners are cut and less accurate tools are being used to install your equipment, it's likely your system will fail sooner than it should. That’s why we use the most accurate digital tools and up-to-date installation practices to ensure your system is installed right the first time. If you’re not 100% satisfied, we’ll work to find the solution to make it right.
